Transportation : Personal transportation
Hotel : You can book online or when you get there . Trip.com doesn’t show all the rooms it’s better to go there straight ❤️
Food : they have restaurants . Their food is teeeew good . It’s cheap ❤️
Environment : They are welcoming. . We had a good time . Since it’s winter we thought it’s gonna be too cold since it’s closer to the mountains. But to our surprise it’s warmer .
Activities : They have a brochure that has all the activities that will take place on that day . It has prices and locations of Activities .
Rooms : They are neat and our room has nice views

We had a well rested and peaceful week. The apartment was beautiful and spacious. I'm disappointed that we didn't have a balcony and the braai area was inside the house. Spend the day at the beach club the kids had fun but there were limited activities for us (the pedal boat were not working). We also did afternoon boat cruise, the skipper was knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the pap and relish it was divine. Dragon was helpful with the kids and braaing. We are definitely coming back.

The rooms were clean, spacious, beautiful interior and friendly staff. The experience with quad bikes was excellent. The staff working with the quad bikes were patient and friendly, making us beginners very comfortable. It was an experience I will always cherish. I highly recommend people to explore quad biking.

Missing some essentials
Lovely location. Family orientated with lots of kids activities.
Room very comfortable but TWO issues. Hot water was not got enough and there was no heating in the room so we froze every night.
Do not go there except in summer when heating is not needed
Food was poor quality also

We stayed there during one of the coldest weeks in June and had NO proper hot water for 5 DAYS. Only 2 people out of 5 could shower each day, the rest of us froze. We complained daily. And guess what? Nothing was done. Hendrick (Resort Manager) and Paseka (Front Desk Manager) were completely useless. They didn’t care, didn’t act, didn’t resolve anything. To "compensate" us, they sent a ridiculous WhatsApp offering a head and shoulder massage for 2 people. WE WERE 5! That’s not compensation — it’s an insult. We replied… and they’ve ignored us ever since. This was supposed to be a holiday. Instead, we spent our time chasing after staff who clearly couldn’t be bothered. We’re seriously angry and disappointed. 💬 And no, we don’t want another “sorry to hear about your experience” response. We want accountability and proper compensation. 🔥 Avoid Cayley Lodge. If something goes wrong, don’t expect help — because their management just doesn’t care. #TravelWarning #CayleyLodge #Drakensberg #HolidayFail #CustomerServiceFail #NeverAgain
